Abstrakt: Příspěvek představí některé výstupy akčního výzkumu realizovaného na Pedagogické fakultě Univerzity Karlovy v Praze. Cílem tohoto výzkumu bylo vytvoření a postupné ověřování modelu semináře Didaktika anglicky psané literatury studentů Učitelství pro SŠ a 2.stupeň ZŠ zaměřeného na ověřování nových metodických postupů pro práci s anglicky psanou literaturou ve výuce AJ. Seminář byl sestaven v souladu s novými kurikulárními dokumenty, specifickými aspekty didaktiky anglicky psané literatury, ale také v návaznosti na soudobé mezinárodní trendy v dané oblasti a výstupy některých evropských výzkumů.

Title: L2 LITERATURE TEACHING IN THE EFL CLASSROOM IN THE CONTEXT OF CURRICULAR REFORM IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC AND CURRENT INTERNATIONAL TRENDS
Abstract: The paper presents some of the results of an action research project that was carried out at the Faculty of Education Charles University in Prague. The objective of this research is the creation and gradual improvement of a model seminar on L2 Literature Teaching in the EFL classroom for students of the MA programme English – Teacher training, lower and upper secondary schools. The seminar is aimed at the verification of new methods and approaches to L2 literature in the EFL classroom reflecting the intentions of the Framework Educational Programmes, the specific aspects of the didactics of L2 literature as well as the current trends in this field and particular research findings at both European and international level.
